Action-packed fun combined with Biblical instruction describes Gateway Kids. At Gateway Kids, we believe that children have the ability to grow in their spiritual life and that every Sunday we are “Making Lasting Impressions…” We strive to be a place where kids can connect with other kids, connect with big kids (adult volunteers) and connect to Christ.

Sunday Mornings Kids Stuff Nursery (9:30 & 11am) – know that while you are serving and/or attending worship your little one will be prayed over and sang to. In addition, our walkers and toddlers are told through words and sight a simple Bible story each month.

Sunday Mornings Kids Stuff Early Childhood (9:30 & 11am) – throughout the school year we will take a look at who God is through different Bible stories and characters. Our underlying nugget that reoccurs each week is that God Made Me, God Loves Me and that Jesus wants to be my forever friend.

Sunday Mornings Kids Rock Elementary (9:30 & 11am) – 1st through 4th grade kids will focus on the virtues of wisdom, contentment and trust in God. Sunday mornings start off with His Kroo leading our praise & worship followed by interactive and relevant drama & Bible stories, and then close with our small group break outs led by our awesome Huddle Coaches. Our underlying theme throughout our teachings this school year is that I need to make the right choice, I can trust God no matter what, and I should treat others the way I want to be treated.

Sunday Mornings Forge/5th grade (11:00) – 5th graders meet and greet with an icebreaker activity then dig into God’s word and understand its life applications. 5th grade Sunday social outings and mission outreach activities will occur throughout the school year.

Dig That Crazy Christmas (December 14th @ 6:00pm) – Come be a part of our 2nd annual Christmas community outreach event. This night promises to be a dazzling winter wonderland night with Christmas song and dance performances, sleigh rides, photos with Santa, cupcakes and much more for the entire family.

Hope Village Mission Outreach (December 2nd @ 1:30pm) – Each year our Forge/5th grade class sponsors a Christmas Party for the residents of Hope Village. The children sing Christmas Carols, serve cookies and punch and then follow that time with a distribution of packaged Christmas gifts. Everyone is invited to be a part of this outreach event.

Christmas Eve Family Worship (December 24th) Christmas eve is the perfect time for families to come together and celebrate the birth of Christ. Plan on worshipping together in one of our family friendly services on Christmas Eve. Your kids will enjoy our upbeat Christmas music, Christmas activity booklets, and will love getting their own glow sticks during our candlelight song! (For your convenience, childcare is available for Nursery through Kindergarten.)

Parent’s Night Out (February 15th @ 6-9:00pm) Are you and your honey needing a night out? If so, Parent’s Night Out is just what you are looking for! The His Kroo Team will sponsor this fundraiser event and parents will make prepaid reservations. Sign up sheets at the Kid Connect stations will be available in February.

Easter Eggstravaganza (March 8th @ 10-12:00pm) – Bring the kids and their Easter baskets for an egg hunt. There will be a short program of song and drama, Easter Bunny sightings, photo area for mom and dad to snap a picture, and an Easter Egg Hunt.
Summer Kids Club (June 16-20th @ 6:00pm) – Gateway’s version of VBS for all kids entering 1st through 5th grade!

Family Fun Day (June 22nd @ 9:30 & 11am) – SKC kid-style praise & worship celebration in the main auditorium.

Family Fun Night (June 22nd @ evening) – Join us for swimming, fellowship and baptisms as we celebrate a great week of SKC.

Kids Stuff provides programming for even our youngest attendees starting in our nursery department. Each Sunday morning, our staff offers excellent care along with positive and creative activities that balance teaching with fun. Our infant/Pre-K/Kindergarten classrooms are located in the children’s wing, just steps away from the auditorium. For our youngest attendees, and for added peace of mind, pagers are available upon request.

Kids Rock provides a fun, interactive learning experience for all 1st – 4th grade children at all Sunday morning service times. We begin with an activity to help us get to know each other followed by a kid-style praise & worship time. Energy abounds with a creatively energized Bible study lesson, followed by an intentional huddle time that applies the Bible truth of the lesson to each child's life! Our Kids Rock classrooms are located at the end of our children’s wing adjacent to the outside playground.

Forge provides a preteen, interactive learning experience for 5th grade children during the 11 hour. We begin with an ice breaker activity to help us get to know each other, followed by a Bible Study Lesson and prayer time. Forge takes kid’s issues and uses the Bible so that they can apply it to their ‘Real Life’ on Monday.
