Elementary (1st through 4th)

It is our goal to make your visit to Gateway Community a great experience for the entire family. We know the challenges children may face when transitioning into new environments and are certain the following information will make your visit smooth and stress-free.

Gateway Kids Regular Attendees Check-In

Kids are to check-in at one of the KidConnect check-in stations.   Kids will receive a name tag with their name, room assignment, and security code.  This security code matches the receipt tag that parents receive.  Kids will then go to their assigned classroom where they are welcomed into a fun, child-centered environment.  Gifted drama/teachers, music and motions, and videos teach the Bible creatively to our kids in a large group setting.  The kids then gather into interactive huddle groups or back to their classrooms with their classroom helpers where they learn Bible truths and how to apply them to their every day lives.  Kids are then released to parents by giving the check-out person their matching security tag.

First Time Visitors Check-In

Parents wishing to bring their elementary age children to Gateway Kids on Sunday morning should come by the First Time check-in table outside the children’s wing upon arrival.  After filling out an Information card, your child will be given a name tag and a security code.  This security code matches the receipt tag that you as a parent will receive.  You and your child will be escorted to your child’s classroom and introduced to one of our team leaders and another child who will assist in connecting them with others.  Upon dismissal, you will be asked to give the check-out person the matching security tag that you received upon check-in.
