Life Groups
Why Life Groups?
Life Groups...because no one should do life alone. We were all created for relationships, authentic relationships – with others and with God. We all desire friends to “do life” with, people with whom we hang out and have a good time, friends who will challenge us and sharpen our character. Imagine being encouraged through a difficult time or even celebrating moments together. Life Groups are all about doing life with God together...because no one should do life alone.
Here at Gateway we want to be more than just a friendly church, we desire to be a church where you will cultivate friends who will care for you, encourage you, challenge you and pray for you.
What is a Life Group?
A Life Group is a gathering of about 8-12 people who meet regularly in homes and locations throughout the community to encourage and support one another in their spiritual journey. Each of these groups meet either weekly or bimonthly. In a Life Group you will discover God’s love and truth together not solely through Bible study, but through the experience of community-oriented activities like sharing meals together, playing together and serving together. Furthermore, our Life Group Leaders function as ministers or shepherds of the church by praying for, loving, and serving the members of their group.
How do I get started?
Our Discovering Gateway course is a great place to start. These are offered three times throughout the year. If you have already completed this course, plan on attending Grouplink.

Grouplink is an hour an a half event where you will be given the opportunity to connect with others and join a Life Group.
