Prayer
Prayer needs are prayed over daily by the individuals on the Prayer Room Team. We intercede on behalf of our church leaders, church ministries, and individual needs within the Body of Christ. Note cards are prepared for those individuals requesting a note and are written by various members of the Prayer Room Team. Please email your prayer requests to: prayer@gateway-community.org
Emergency prayer needs can be submitted any time to the Prayer Room in person or call us at 281-286-1515.
 Prayer Quilt Ministry
Prayer is a powerful tool that God has provided for us. Our group has chosen to combine the gift of a quilt with the gift of prayer for someone in need.
The purpose of the prayer quilt ministry is not to make and distribute quilts, but to promote prayer through the use of quilts. The quilt is simply a carrier of the prayers of the church.
The prayer request first goes to the Prayer ministry and they pray on the request and when appropriate, they give a list of people that are to be quilt recipients. These can be children, teenagers or adults that are facing a serious illness or surgery. It could also comfort someone in the loss of a loved one.
We would like volunteers that would like to join us in this project of love and giving. Anyone that knits or crochets would be a blessing for this ministry also.
