Early Childhood

Our Sunday program uses an interactive approach to appeal to all of your child's senses. Activities, crafts and teaching are Biblical and fun because they are designed with your child's development and curiosity in mind.

Volunteers are loving and gifted specifically for the areas in which they serve.    In addition, trained childcare staff for our Lamb, Llama and Penguin rooms (infant - 24 months) provides a familiar face for children and parents regardless of the service you attend.

Parents are important partners in this ministry. Principles taught on Sunday morning are summarized and sent home for parents to reinforce for our children ages 2 - 5.

Visiting for the First Time?

Where Do I go?

Parents wishing to bring their preschool age children to Gateway Kids on Sunday morning should stop at the Gateway Kids children's ministry visitor check-in table in the lobby prior to the beginning of the service (service times are 9:30 and 11:00).

Pagers

Pagers are available if your child has difficulty adjusting to the new environment.

What Happens Next?

After filling out a Visitor card, you and your child will be escorted to your child's classroom and introduced to your child's shepherd.

What if I have a Preschooler and a First Grader?

Parents with preschool-age children and elementary-age children may stop at the preschool check-in desk in the lobby where the check-in process will be streamlined.

Nursing Mothers

Nursing mothers are invited to use the Ladies Restroom located to the right as you leave the auditorium if desired.   The service may be viewed and heard from this location with additional privacy.
