Christian Outreach Alliance (COA), a non-profit organization of area churches, offers free after-school tutoring 2 days a week for Kindergarten through 5th grade students at the Clear Lake United Methodist Church , Gateway volunteers serve from 3:15 to 5:15 Tuesday afternoons. Tutoring is offered from 3:30 pm to 5 pm. Training is required, as well as consent to a background check.
